About Us
Every Child Deserves to See Themselves in a Story.
Tu Es Belle was born from a simple truth: representation matters. When children see themselves reflected in the books they read, in their language, their culture, their skin, they begin to believe
in their own beauty.

Our Story

Born in Ottawa, Canada to Haitian parents and raised in South Florida, Stichiz grew up navigating multiple cultures, languages, and identities. As a multi-lingual Hip-Hop artist, iHeartRadio personality, and voiceover actress, she found her voice on stages and airwaves across the continent, from 103.5 The Beat FM in Miami to ESPN, BET, and Rogers SportsNet in Canada.
But it was a quiet realization that sparked her most important work: the children in her community didn't have enough books that looked like them, sounded like them, or celebrated them.
Tu Es Belle: You Are Beautiful was her answer. Written in English with French and Haitian Creole woven into its heart, the book teaches children to love the skin they were born in, regardless of their shade, their language, or where they come from.
What started as one book has grown into a movement: a best-selling series, a nationwide book tour, a scholarship fund, and a nonprofit dedicated to literacy and empowerment.
